1. Overview
Physioprep AI respects your right to control your personal data. You can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. This policy explains how to request deletion, what data is removed, what data is retained, and how long the process takes.
2. How to Delete Your Account
We provide multiple ways to request account deletion:
Option 1 — In-App (Recommended)
- Open the Physioprep AI app
- Go to Profile (bottom navigation)
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down to Account
- Tap Delete My Account
- Confirm your decision when prompted
- Your deletion request will be processed immediately
Option 2 — By Email
Send a deletion request to:

Subject line: Account Deletion Request
Include in your email:
- The email address associated with your account
- Your full name
- A brief note confirming you want your account deleted
We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Option 3 — Web Dashboard
- Log in at physioprep.ai
- Go to Account Settings
- Click Delete Account
- Confirm your decision
- Your account and data will be scheduled for deletion
3. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
Data That Is Deleted Immediately
When your account deletion is processed, the following data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered:
- Your name, email address, and profile information
- Your onboarding answers (exam date, weak areas, target exam)
- All practice question history and session records
- All mock exam results and scores
- Your AI chat conversation history
- Your streak count, XP points, and level data
- Your progress analytics and readiness scores
- Your bookmarked questions
- Your notification preferences
- Your profile photo
Data That Is Retained After Deletion
Some data may be retained for a limited period after deletion for legal and financial compliance reasons:
- Payment and billing records: retained up to 7 years for financial regulation compliance
- Transaction history: retained up to 7 years for tax and accounting requirements
- Fraud prevention records: retained up to 2 years for security and abuse prevention
- Anonymised usage analytics: retained indefinitely in aggregated, non-identifiable form
All retained data is stored securely, access-controlled, and used only for the specific legal purpose stated above. It cannot be used to identify you in our platform or marketing systems.
4. Active Subscriptions
If you have an active paid subscription at the time of your deletion request:
- Your subscription will be cancelled immediately upon account deletion
- You will not be charged for future billing cycles
- Refunds for the unused portion of the current billing period are not automatically issued unless required by applicable consumer protection law
- If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at info@physioprep.ai before submitting your deletion request
We recommend cancelling your subscription first and waiting until the end of your current billing period before deleting your account if you wish to use your remaining access.
5. Processing Time
Request Method and Processing Time:
- In-app deletion: Immediately initiated — completed within 24 hours
- Email request: Within 7 business days of receiving your request
- Web dashboard: Immediately initiated — completed within 24 hours
Once deletion is complete, you will receive a confirmation email to the address associated with your account.
6. Can I Recover My Account After Deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted:
- All your progress, history, and data are permanently removed
- Your account cannot be restored
- If you wish to use Physioprep AI again, you will need to create a new account
- Your previous progress, streak, XP, and exam history will not be recoverable
7. Third-Party Data
When you delete your account, we will also request deletion of your data from the following third-party services where technically possible:
- Stripe / Razorpay / PayPal: payment method tokens associated with your account
- Calendly: scheduled or pending bookings
- Mixpanel / Amplitude: user profile and event data linked to your account
- Push notification services: device tokens associated with your account
Please note that payment processors may retain transaction records independently for their own legal compliance purposes.
